A meeting of the Remittance Warriors’ Parliament was held in Newcastle, United Kingdom, organized by Desh Bandhu Sangsad. The event brought together community leaders, business figures, and expatriate representatives from different regions.
The program was led by Advocate A N M Isa, founder of Desh Bandhu Sangsad. Sunderland community leader Syed Khalied Miah Olied attended as the special guest.
Among those present were Newcastle-based businessman Kaptan Miah, Newcastle Central convener Hussain Ahmed Insaf Ali, Newcastle convener Mujibur Rahman Madhu Miah, North Tyneside convener Ayesul Karim, convener secretary Jugly Miah, and Sunderland city convener Syed Marhan, along with many other community members.
In his remarks, Advocate Isa emphasized unity among expatriates and highlighted the importance of collective efforts to protect the rights of remittance contributors. He extended greetings and congratulations to all participants of the Remittance Warriors’ Parliament.
M A Rouf, representing the central committee, along with members including Lion Abdul Kader Jilani, Shahana Haque, Md Abul Hasem, Rimon Hossain, Nasrin Akhter Tarafder, Hakikul Islam Khokan (USA), Dr. Sharif Saki, Ismail Khan, Yesmin Rehman Bokul, Najnin Rehman Rajon, Yesmin Akhter Rumon, Mustafizur Rahman Ripon, Akther Miah, Reza Nabi (USA), Reaz Abu Syed, Faruk Ahmed Chaudhary, Mostadik Miah (UK), Shahin Talukder (Dubai), Arob Ali (Kuwait), Maraj Miah (Dubai), Ali Ashraf (USA), Moniruzzaman and others joined the event both in person and virtually from different countries.
The organizers thanked all participants from across the world and expressed hope that such initiatives would strengthen unity among expatriates and contribute to safeguarding their rights.
